Recycled CD
Holiday Ornaments
(various designs)

Last holiday season, I was challenged at one market I participated in to come up with a handmade holiday ornament from recycled materials, in my style. The approximately 5-inch CD/DVD was a no-brainer to use as a canvas for more of my spray-painted stencil designs. And due to its small size, the stencils don't have to be terribly detailed, giving the imagery more of an iconic appeal. A coating of glitter and gloss makes these catch the light and really shine! Perfect for your tree, walls, mantle, or really to hang anywhere during the holidays or year-round!

To the left are several of the more popular design and color combo options; there's not enough room on the page to include them all, as I'm constantly coming up with more. But if you catch me live at a show or market, I'll have these and many, many more. Feel free to email me if you have any custom ideas. (Also, you can check my Etsy shop for more varieties, too.)

The rocketship design was very popular last year, and will soon be translated into a t-shirt and possibly clock design as well. Comes in many color combinations, but pictured here is the red with powder blue edition.

The green/yellow recycle symbol ornament is brand new - I just came up with that one. But it seems a very logical symbol to use, and a fun way to remind folks about recycling in this time of over-consumption.

The red/yellow swallow ornament was designed specifically for a how-to article I wrote for Curve Magazine, which will publish in their December 2007 issue.

And of course, there has to be a fleur de lis ornament! I've made these in just about every color combination I can come up with, but this dark blue on light blue version seems a very popular choice.

Each ornament measures approximatedly five inches in diameter. Design is on one side; the back side just has background color. Each ornament signed by me on the back. All ornaments are handmade and one-of-a-kind; pictures here are offered to give a general idea of what each design/color combo looks like. Slight variations of design, color, glitter, etc. may occur on individual ornaments, due to the handmade process.
