One of my latest upcycled/recycled mixed media assemblages, made from a salvaged toaster oven tray and many vintage board game pieces. I feel like this piece is very New Orleans specific, with its multicolored houses all around the edges, lucky dice, a golden Mardi Gras baby on the top edge and a green plastic gun on the bottom edge, pointing out at the viewer. "Home" indeed!
My popular "Home" fleur de lis design is spray-paint stencilled in the middle, in orange, on a cherry red background.
Measures approximatedly 7.5 inches wide by 11 inches long by 1/2 inch thick. There's no wall hanger attached, but because of its light weight, it hangs by the lip of the tray pretty easily on a nail on the wall. (Click the ZOOM buttons for detailed close-ups.)
