In addition to the LP clocks and clothing I stencil, I also make signs, mostly out of scrap pieces of wood pulled out of the trash or donated by friends. Of course, in New Orleans right now, there's no shortage of scrap wood - every time you walk out the house, there's a pile of trash on the side of the road somewhere that has scrap wood, either from gutted houses (and no, it's not all moldy) or from renovations being done. So I've taken to hoarding said scrap wood and making stencils to fit.
This stencil design features a hand-drawn stencil of the retro-70s peace V-fingers sign - one of my popular t-shirt designs. It's printed on a scrap piece of siding, which measures approximately 5.5" x 9.25" (the edges are rough, as that's how I found it, cut irregularly). This piece was not primed, but was sanded lightly. The background is in a powder blue color, with the print in white.
All signs are one-of-a-kind and hand-printed. Smaller signs do not come with hooks/wire to hang, as they are thin and light. I leave it up to the buyer to determine the method of display.
