SISTER RESISTER silkscreen prints

this is an older design but i still love it and it is of course still relevant. this design is based on an original painting i created in 2018 (sold) for a planned parenthood fundraising art show. it got such good feedback that i decided to create a silkscreen of it to print t-shirts and paper prints. i chose pink as the color as it is associated not only with planned parenthood but also women and women’s health in general; i like the idea of turning the stereotype of pink being a feminine or “girl’s” color on its head by making it one that expresses strength and fierceness. i used a variety of bright pink colors to print these and the prints that remain are made with hot pink fluorescent speedball ink for paper.

these prints are on 100lb acid-free grey grout colored cardstock from french paper company, cut down to 12″ x 12″ size for easy framing. (the design itself measures 8″ x 7.5″.) i am selling these prints unframed.

these will be shipped in a rigid mailer unless packaged in a larger box with other items.

there aren’t many of these left and i’m not sure if the screen is still in usable condition so i doubt i’ll be reprinting these anytime soon. get ’em while they last!
