i made this piece after taking artist bibby gignilliat‘s self-guided online mixed media course earlier this year. this small piece began intuitively with no plan but after laying down a collage layer, floating some house paint on top, and then making the gestural blue solid paint marker line, a flower presented itself so i edited it back and made it the focal point. a happy accident or my subconscious showing me the way? i really love this piece and it’s hard to let it go but i can’t keep everything i make; i hope you love it as much as i do.
